PRODUCT CONCEIVEMENT
Laboratories in France (GRASSE) are constantly developing formulations in the field of "COSMETICS". Biggest challenges in this field are the chemical formulations, which brings GLOSS, TIGHTNESS and SMOOTHNESS, RESISTANCE TO WEATHER, SHOCKS to the Human Skins and Muscular Systems. During these studies it was verified that the ESTERIFIED COMPOUNDS OF GLYCOLS & ACIDS (SUCH AS LINOLIC, PATHALIC & ACRYLIC) are the "BASE" for developing such end products in this field. Undersigned during 1970ââ¬â¢s was deployed in the field of commercial aspects of Research / Development and formulation of Industrial scheme from data observed. If we notice that the functional aspects of Human Body and Skin with Rubber Goods have many points in common. He decided to give a "COSMERIC TOUCH" to the Rubber Goods through informationââ¬â¢s procured after exchanging views with the scientists working in this field.
CHEMICAL CONSTITUTION & PROPERTIES GENERATED
Rubber Modifier Resins are low to medium number polymeric molecules of ester. Their active end and easily form chemical bends with the Rubber Molecules during mastication and vulcanization stage. They bring Elastomeric - Plastomeric bonding in the mix giving cohesion to the Molecular System of rubber and reduce the No. of free molecules exposed to climatic alterations. It should be noted that here Elastomers - Plastomers bonding in strictly chemical in nature as against the 'PHYSICAL BONDINGS' offered by other resin such as "Wood Resin" & "C.I. Resin". These chemical bonding bind the system strongly and do not get loose during "SEASONAL KICKS" for a long time to come. As a result following properties get incorporated in the end product.
- A "TIGHETER"compound with smoother and glossy surface.
- A product much more "INERT" to seasonal alternations and damages. Hence longer operational life.
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF THE RESIN
The resins are high viscosity BUTTER-LIKE PASTES which are compressed in Brick Shape and soap bars. They start softening at round 90ðC with a complete meltdown at round 135oC. Their boiling points are approx. 240oC and they do not vaporize during "BOILING" Their physical looks remain intact for a period of about 2 years. After this a dryness look starts prevailing onto the bricks. They are "Odourless" and impart the sense of "NO FEELINGS" when touched upon. On being heated at high heated at high temperatures (above 250oC) they do not release any unpleasant, toxic & harmful ingredients.
However, being "Butter like Paste" in nature they do not get deformed "PHYSICAL" When stored for long (say above 24 months) or handled none scientifically. Their physical deformation does not bring any change in their "CHEMICAL ACTIVITY". Their dryness due to atmospheric exposure for a long period reduces their operating properties on the duration of exposure.
GRADES OF RUBBER MODIFIERS
All the grades formulated have one thing in common i.e. the GLYCOLIC GROUP LINKED with any HYDROCARBON ACID. Any change in the type of GLYCOLIC GROUP and molecular number of polymer formed changes the GRADE OF RUBBER MODIFIER RESIN. The difference in properties of various grades is not significant.
300 T is more Re-active then 300M applicable particularly when the vulcanization rate is Faster.
