Accelerator TMT TMT Ultra Thiuram AcceleratorAccicure. It is the best known and the most widely used very fast accelerators. It is used with sulphur as a single accelerator and as an important component of multi accelerator blends. It is non staining but with normal sulphur dosages it is rather too scorchy to be used by itself. It also cures rubber without added sulphur, acting as both accelerator and sulphur donor. TMT is a very popular booster for MBT, MBTS and HBS, giving reasonably safe, fast-curing combinations. Typical dosage varies from 0.15 - 0.75 phr.
Storage and Handling Stable indefinitely under normal storage conditions. No special handling precautions are necessary. Normal precautions to avoid contact with skin and eyes should be followed. For eyes, flush with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
